Yuji Naka Reacts to The New Sonic 2 Movie Teaser

Yuji Naka, one of the principal original creators of Sonic, reacted on Twitter following the new teaser trailer of the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Hollywood moving picture.

Overall he'southward pretty excited, especially with the Tails teaser, which he pointed out. Yuji Naka is as well happy a release engagement has been published. Sonic The Hedgehog the moving-picture show 2 will be launching on April 8, 2022.

This is definitely something to rejoice for, seeing the corporeality of movies and events in Japan and around the world postponed with the pandemic. He shared both the Japanese and English announcements of the teaser.

Yuji Naka besides shared his thoughts back when the outset design of Sonic in the former flick was leaked. He was particularly surprised by the lack of gloves, or how Sonic's optics were separated.

It's interesting to notation all the same that when the design change was revealed, Yuji Naka mentioned that he would have liked to see the pic with the original blueprint equally well.

Personally speaking, I idea the original design was an horrific sight. Just I believe the redesign isn't that good either, and still has a very uncanny alley feel to it. It's still important to note how difficult the movie's staff must have worked. Peculiarly because the dire conditions and time-limits they worked with. I hope the staff of the second movie will have higher consideration from their college ups.

Yuji Naka is currently working on a 3D platformer game at Square Enix, Balan Wonderworld. While it looks like a Nights successor, the demo was poorly received. While Square Enix' name is heavily advertised, Balan Wonderworld is actually developed past Japanese studio Arzest. And sadly nearly of its games aren't known for existence particularly fun. Balan nonetheless had a few more months of development since its demo though, and maybe the final version will surprise us.

Balan Wonderworld launches March 26 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Ane, Xbox Series Ten, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
